Geraldine Mucha: Chamber and solo piano works
Composer Geraldine Mucha especially enjoyed writing chamber music, and loved to compose small pieces for friends. This CD showcases not only her ability to write for string quartet, but also her skill - and delight - in writing small piano pieces celebrating the births of friends` children. It also includes her moving farewell piece composed upon her husband Jiří Mucha`s death.

CD: Shadows Crossing Water
Patricia organised a stellar recording of solo and chamber music by New Zealand composer Dame Gillian Karawe Whitehead with the Stamic Quartet and oboist Vilém Veverka for Rattle Records.
CD: Piano Concerto and Scottish Variations by Geraldine Mucha
Patricia also oversaw the recording of neglected music by her friend, the Scottish composer Geraldine Mucha, who moved to Prague in 1945. During her long life, Mucha composed a full range of orchestral, chamber and solo works. Patricia performs Mucha`s bracing, Scottish-themed Piano Concerto and “Variations on a Scottish Folk Song” on the Arco Diva release “Macbeth and other orchestral works by Geraldine Mucha.”
Happiness Supplier
“I’m kicking off the month with a long-standing happiness supplier in my CD library, Patricia Goodson’s Strange Attractors….Goodson’s work …is consistently excellent, rumbling and ecstatic at one end and acutely sensitive on the other, both qualities well suited to American classical music of the 80’s.”
