A Story in Postcards

A set of 18 postcards created for the International Passion Postcard Project (IP3) Summer 2024 and mailed to participating artists around the world.
Watercolor, India ink, acrylic, and watercolor inks, 6x4 inches or 7x5 inches.
One day, the moon`s relatives decided to pay a call.
Some brought their pet asteroids with them.
Many of us were enchanted.
Others tried to hide.
Still others panicked…
…and felt Armageddon was upon us.
Parents held their young to reassure them.
Others stayed home and cuddled.
Lovers, of course, found it romantic.
Others could not stop meditating.
But some had difficulty navigating.
Mr. Bear came out of hibernation early to see what the fuss was about.
But under the sea, all was peaceful,
and new life forms came into being.
The Moon Lilies loved it,
as did the blue wheat.
Moon bathing became popular.
And, during the day, hidden by the moon’s dark shadow, the moons partied like it was 1999.
Then, as suddenly as they had appeared, they vanished.
And to this day, we can`t stop talking about it,
